Willian, 31, is set to leave Stamford Bridge in the coming months when his contract expires after revealing an impasse in contract talks between himself and the club.

As per Chelsea’s policy for players over the age of 30, the Blues are only willing to offer a two-year extension as opposed to Willian’s wish of three years.

As such, the winger has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham, with Willian believed to have a solid relationship with Spurs and former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who brought him to West London in 2013.

However, the Daily Mirror claims that Willian has also been offered to Madrid, although the Spanish giants are “reluctant” to offer him a three-year deal.

The newspaper claims that while Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is an “admirer” of the player, he has told Madrid chiefs to resist any potential interest in a deal.

Madrid signed Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard and Rodrygo in an expensive splurge last summer but all three have been unable to provide a spark for the capital side.

Former Eintracht Frankfurt star Jovic has struggled for form while Hazard, who moved from Chelsea, has suffered two injuries in his debut season.

In other news, Chelsea have reportedly been offered the pick of three Juventus players as the Italian side look to seal a deal for Jorginho.
