Manchester United star Paul Pogba has poured cold water on rumours of a Juventus return by insisting he was only there on a four-year vacation.
Since returning from Russia as a World Cup winner, the 25-year-old has been the subject of intense speculation about his future and happiness.
Barcelona have been strongly linked with a move for Pogba, who has previously done little to quell such talk at a time when his relationship with Mourinho has been heavily scrutinised.
Meanwhile, he has also been linked with a potential return to Turin to play for the Bianconeri again, with numerous reports suggesting Juve are keen on bringing Pogba back.
However, Pogba has now responded to rumours that he himself wants to move back to the Serie A champions, insisting his time there was a ‘vacation’.
“When I came back here it was great, I felt like I was home again. I was just on vacation for four years,” he told Inside United.
“I have always dreamed of playing with this shirt, playing great games and scoring at the Old Trafford and nothing has changed since the first time, except for the teammates and the coach.
“The rest of the club has remained the same since I left and then returned.”
