Liverpool are one of a clutch of clubs tracking highly-rated Dinamo Zagreb winger Dani Olmo, according to reports.
Croatian outlet Sportske Novosti report that JUrgen Klopp has had the 20-year-old watched on numerous occasions and he is on the German’s radar.
Olmo, who was born in Terrassa, Spain, has played for Spain’s U16s and U17s, but CRoatia are hoping the winger can gain Croatian citizenship and switch allegiances.
Klopp’s former club Borussia Dortmund are also chasing the left-sided player, who is under contract until 2021.
Olmo’s agent Juanma Lopez has also revealed that AC Milan are interested in the Dinamo Zagreb starlet.
And after reports Milan sent scouts to watch Olmo score the winner against Gorica on Saturday, Lopez told Calciomercato.com: “I can confirm that Milan and other clubs are following Dani.
“There are several Italian clubs interested in him, as well as some in England and Spain.”
Olmo developed in the famous Barcelona ‘La Masia’ youth academy, but joined Dinamo in the summer of 2014, swapping clubs with Alen Halilovic.
In May 2017 Sport claimed Barca were in talks to bring him back to the club.
And he is quoted in the past saying: “I would very much like to play again for Barca, where I grew up as a person and a footballer. It’s a dream, but first I have to work hard and humbly.”
Olmo has scored two goals and grabbed two assists in 11 games so far this season.
